Anniversary party

Last night, I went to my friend's parents anniversary party! I had a great time and
I decided that I'd do my hair in loose curls with sections pinned up either side of my face. I used my Phillips multi-styler with a long thin barrel and shockwaves extreme hold hairspray to hold the hairstyle in place.

To begin with, I brushed my hair and then used hair grips to pin the top half of my hair on top of my head. This was to make it easier to curl the underneath first. When I picked up a section of hair to start curling, I sprayed it with the hairspray first which kept the curls in really well! When I had curled all of the bottom layer, I let the top section of hair down and curled that too. I then pinned up some hair just above my ears and did my makeup.

I'm super excited because tomorrow I am going to 'The clothes show live' with other people from my college who study textiles. There have been loads of great reviews of the show this year and I expect that it's going to brilliant!

My first blog post

My first blog post!


So today is the 6th December! I can't believe how quick the year has gone. I decided that I would try to get a bit of Christmas shopping done today since it isn't long to go until Christmas. So far I've managed to sort out my parents presents and some of my friends, but I've still got some to do before I can fully relax! To get myself into the Christmas spirit this year, I actually ordered a beauty advent calendar, but I left it a few days late so it wasn't here before the start of advent (typical me). It will be nice to have a few boxes to open straight away when it does come though!




I thought that in my first blog post you would like to get to know a bit about me. So here are ten and a half facts :) :


1. I play the violin and piano.
2. I complain a lot when I'm tired but I never make myself go to bed earlier!
3. I'm quite a shy person when you first meet me, but I find it quite easy to get to know you.
4. I love all of the seasons, even when its wet and rainy.
5. I love to cook and bake, especially for friends and family.
6. I went to China in April 2014 (Beijing and Shanghai).
7. I am in a chamber choir.
8. I hum a lot when I'm eating.
8.5. I'm not sure how to spell hum...
9. I make weird faces when I concentrate... I have three different expressions for different situations.
10. In my spare time I like to draw.


I have tonnes of more ideas for my blog posts in the future but if there's anything you'd like me to do, please let me know! I hope to do some beauty reviews, recipes that I love, travel experiences, tutorials, bucket lists etc....
